Jill for Miss America

For those of you that haven't heard me rave about my good friend, Jill, please hear me now.
Jill is one of my dear friends that has been a role model to me during my years in college. We became good friends as we went through nursing school, were in the same LDS ward, and lived nearby. I often would see her in the halls, drop my bags and go running, just to give her a running hug (our crazy girl tradition). If you haven't heard, this All American girl won Miss Utah and is going for Miss America on January 26. I hope you all cheer for her. Go Jill!

This is her glamour shot. I'm still getting used to the glamour Jill. I'm used to the backward hat, sweats to school, I'm going for a run after this Jill.
This is a cool drawing I found of her. Resembles her well, don't you think?

Jill served in the army out in Afghanistan. I thought this was a neat quote by her.

Now this is the Jill I know.

This is what Jill loved about being out in Afghanistan. Being able to help people...especially children.

This one made me laugh. You don't see this often eh?
Anyways, I wish the best of luck to her. I think the world of her and think that she would be a wonderful role model for America. If you get a chance, watch Miss America this year. I'll be cheering for Jill.

Caytee, you will have to tell me when it's on t.v. so I don't miss it. I have heard about her and would love her to win, especially because you know her!
