Wonderful Wedding

Wow...what an incredible couple of days. It all started on November 23. With the help of SO many people, we were able to compile a beautiful reception, one of which I could never have dreamed to be so perfect. It was such a stressful day...I will admit but was wonderful to see our families come together and all of our old friends and relatives celebrate (be-earlied) our wedding.

The next day...November 24 was our wedding day. I woke up early with my best friend, Hali who got me ready for the day. Then still in my pajamas, Preston showed up early and each of us met up with our dads for a father's blessing. I couldn't ask for a better beginning for a wedding day than remenicsing with an old friend and a blessing from my dad. We are so blessed to have worthy father's who love and care for use so much.

We then left for Manti where we had such a fun conversation about our future and our lives and the fun of our courtship. I didn't feel nervous one bit....

That is until...we made it over the hill to where you could see the temple. Then my belly took a turn with a few hundred butterflies and I thought to myself, "Caytee, you are getting married...today...like in two hours...for real...not just pretend...." Preston felt the exact same thing. But an overwhelming peace came to both of us as we drove onto the temple grounds and sat and stared at the beautiful structure.
The day that you look forward to for your whole life is right there. At the temple, I met with old friends (like my Sunbeam teacher and friend's mother from when I was young). And the neatest part was seeing every single person from my family, Cox and Wankier, there. I can not think of a more spiritual time in my life than to look across and see my husband, Preston, and know that we were making the right choice.
For being a girl that runs away from boys and never commits, I didn't have a doubt in my mind that I was in the right place, at the right time, with the right person, by the right authority. I have been so abundantly blessed.

Thank you all for all your support (literally) and for sharing this time with us. I love you all so dearly. Preston, thank you for being who you are and for making the decisions you have so that we could be married this day and start our family. I am such a lucky girl.
