Well...we did it! Preston, Caytee, Chad and Abbi all made it through the Salt Lake Marathon. And kudos to Jon for finishing the FULL MARATHON. You're my hero. Ultimate gold to Jon and Abbi and Preston congrats for taking first in our family's division. It IS a big deal! I have to admit that I did fine until about mile 2. Then I started getting tired. Just joking. It was such a fun run and I really hope we get into the St. George Marathon again. I would love to do that race again.
Dad and Grandma, thanks for coming. I can't tell you how much it meant to see you guys. I would turn around every corner trying to find a flashy head and a gorgeous grandma.
It is such an incredible feeling to know that you are able to push yourself to do something you never thought you could. I guess we all have those experiences in our lives. And then to have people on the sides of you cheering you on knowing that you are at your runner's wall. Except for being incredibly sore after, I love running now!
