Our family got together for an exciting camping outing. We went to a place called Palisades just past Manti. It was a blast. We all used to play there as kids growing up so it was fun to go back and bring all the kids. Not to mention the boys loved it because a few hundred feet away was a golf course that they went to play 18 holes on. It was a great way to celebrate the 4th with each other and a great way to test out Nate and Curt's new camp trailers.

The sprinklers came on for a bit and guess who was right in that action?

The kids brought their bikes and were all over the place. C* woke up around 8:00 and asked where his dad was. When I told him that he was golfing, he walked in his trailer, changed and cruised his bike down to go find his dad at the golf course. Thankfully, I saw him ditch his bike at the fence heading towards the golf course and caught him right before he made it to ask the other golfers where he could find his dad.

We rented a couple canoes. I couldn't decide if the kids liked them or not. What do you think?

Nate did!

Preston tested J* in the water. He absolutely detested it. So what did I do? Told Preston to put back in so I could take a picture. I will be a great mother huh?

The kids were absolutely ecstatic when Uncle Jon showed up. Before he even pulled in, they ran to his car and came back with popsicles and cheetos (a camping must) and yelling "Uncle Jon's here. Uncle Jon's here." They are sure lucky to have a crazy uncle that adores them so much.

This is my favorite. While Preston was playing golf, guess what happened. Oops. Guess we need a new driver.

Did I mention that the kids love Uncle Jon. Oh...and his lynx.

Fun, food and games. Lots of talking and lots of playing. Hm...we need to do this more often.

The one and only. That face looks normal right?

Nate and his cute boy. Doesn't that smile melt your heart?

This is Preston and my little tent. Yep, we were definitely snug in there. Especially when our air mattress was a little bigger and bowed in towards the center.

Here are the sweet campers. Now that is a great way to camp.

Isn't he gorgeous? Oh, and the background too.

Popsicles from Uncle Jon! Man I couldn't even get one kid to share one with me! That's love.
Thanks fam for yet another fun filled trip. I sure do love you all.
