December 21: Christmas Lights & Gingerbread Houses

Emily, the girls, and I went to Thanksgiving Point tonight to go see the Christmas Lights. I loved it. (Emily, you knew they were coming on the blog!). They had nearly a mile full of different lights for everyone to enjoy.
Reindeer Flight School.
Our three-handed Santa friend.
The nativity.
And Santa's reindeer. A little surprise ending for the girls.
I think they liked it, wouldn't you say? I had a blast. And who can miss Christmas Lights during the holiday season?

Afterwards, we came to my house and decorated gingerbread houses. After several hours and hard work, Emily, the girls and I put together the most beautiful gingerbread house. Yea, not many people can say that they have made such an extravagant gingerbread house as we made.
And this wasn't it.
More so this. Just like the picture says right? That is our church in the corner and the other houses collapsed due to a severe winter storm. That's the effect we were going for. It was really quite incredible if you ask me.
Aren't these guys great! I love my sister-in-law, Emily and her two daughters. (Miss Kaitlyn is sucking on an ice cube because her Aunt Caytee decided to give her scalding hot chocolate.) I sure do love you guys! Thanks for the fun night.
