Party on!

Wow! We have done a lot lately due to the beautiful weather and the last few weeks of freedom before I started work again. This last weekend, on a spur of the moment, Preston, Carl and I took a trip to my family's cabin. It was so nice to be away from all the day to day responsibilities and the go to a place where we were able to have one on one time with one another. And Carl loved it!

I can't help but smile when I see this picture. He is so darn cute and is getting so big!

While we were there, Preston was able to do quite a bit of fishing. And even though it rained off and on the entire time we were there...

he still caught four fish in an hour. Then we cooked them up for dinner that night. Mmmm...

Also, lately I was inspired by a project featured at Hobby Lobby and put together this. Love.

Well, now here's the kicker. I wanted to go get my hair highlighted and trimmed, but last minute, decided to:

chop it off!

I can honestly say that it was one of the best things I could have done. It has been so nice to have a change and to have something light and easy to do! Thanks Hali for coming for the fun!

Now back to work...
