Crate...done!

First project done!  If you remember from our post earlier, you will notice our new and improved WWII crate!  Preston sanded it down and then stained it with a beautiful "Special Walnut" stain.  I love the color.  He also added some legs to the bottom to bring it off the ground a few inches.  

 Isn't it gorgeous?

 And it fits right in our living room!

So fun!  I am planning on laminating the original tag and keeping it with the chest so we can remember who it came from.  Maybe put an old lock on it too!  So many possibilities!
