Latest project:
This is my valentine wreath and that I started last year and next finished until yesterday. Yay me! Yea, I've seen these cute little rosette wreaths all over and thought they were beautiful but forewarning... it's kind of a pain! I will forever cherish this wreath for the mere time that it took me to do it! Ü

As we mentioned in the previous post, Preston's grandparent's are moving and so we have had the opportunity to go up there a lot and go through all of their little treasures. We were fortunate to be able to bring home some of those treasures.
This is one of grandma's chairs that sat in the garden room for years. You can tell that it was well loved by all the wear in it's fabric and by the mere comfiness of the chair! Ü
So I have taken on my next project and just ordered this fabric to reupholster this beautiful chair! Hopefully I will have many fun pictures to show you in the future!

We also brought home this old crate that Grandma's brother sent home his belongings from WWII.
It even has the original tag on it. Precious!
We received this old dresser from Preston's aunt and uncle! It used to be Grandma's father's.
And this glove from Grandpa Wankier. (I don't know how they caught anything with this!)
But our favorite of all are the gorgeous paintings done by Grandpa Wankier that are now displayed all over our home! He took up watercoloring about ten years ago and has such a knack for it. We love his paintings and will continue to love looking at these beautiful mountains as move far away from them!
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Wankier for sharing your treasures with us! We are so fortunate!

Wow, how neat! You must be very popular to get all that cool stuff from them! :)
How fun! I'm excited to see how your chair turns out!
