Little Carl

Carl is getting so big. I can't believe how much he learns every day!  He is turning into quite the big boy!
He still absolutely loves anything to do with sports.  He will play football and say "Down, set, hike, run run run, tackle! TOUCHDOWN!"  Or he'll play baseball and say, "Strike, run run run, HOMERUN!" (Yea, he's a little mixed up in that one!) Or basketbally, "Dribble dribble dribble, shoot!" and so on! We love it since both of us are big sports fans!

He is talking so much now.  It seems like his mind is just grabbing on to anything that is said around him. He is so smart too!  I am amazed as to how much he is catching on to. For instance, my parents bought this blood pressure machine and Carl watched them run it one day and then proceeded to put it on his arm, turn it on and turn on the pressure.  I love it!  I just have to be careful about what I say or do around him!  Ü
Carl has a contagious personality.  He loves to make people smile and he loves to play with most everyone!  If I tell him that we are going to go see one of his friends or cousins, he lights up and runs to the door!  He loves to play outside and play in the dirt (just like his dad).
He also likes to be a part of everything.  For instance, he is sitting on my lap right now and pointed to every picture of himself.  He wants to know what is going on and wants to be right in the center of it!  My dad and brother were working on Ellie's car the other day and before you know it, Carl was pulling out tools to see what he could do to help out!  That's my boy.
Carl makes me smile.  He is still my cute little guy that snuggles with me and reads me stories and helps me around the house.  He is such a goof ball but is such a great boy and I am lucky to be his mother!
