Well...it's official. We moved and in the midst of all that moving talk, I had to say a lot of sad good byes! There are so many family and friends here that I know I will miss dearly. Thank you for all of your support and your love. We look forward to this new adventure in our lives but we are sad to say good bye to all of you (who live so far away now!!!)
My dear friend, Hali. Oh, how I love and adore you! Thank you for all of our chats and fun memories together. You are always such a treat to be around and I adore all of your crazy stories! You have so many adventures ahead of you, I just hope that visiting DC fits in there somewhere!
Even more so...thanks for being a great "aunt" to my little Carl. You are one of the only people I know that he warms right up to and plays with right as you walk in the door! You truly are amazing.
To my dear family. Not enough can be said about all that you have done for me and for the wonderful support system we have developed for each other. I loved living so close to everyone and our weekly (sometimes daily) parties! They will be missed. I know that Carl will especially miss you all!
To my incredible friends from work. Wow! The memories we made especially on those night shifts between the 2 and 5 o'clock hours. I will miss all the great talks, the crazy shifts, and the many memories we all made together. Jamee and Shea... I will especially miss our lunch dates and play dates that we always said was for the boys... but I think it was more so for us. I sure will miss you guys tremendously!
To Carl's Grandmas and Grandpas. You have left such a tradition of love and support for our little family. We feel so blessed to be among such wonderful families that you have helped raise. You are a constant example to us and we love you all.
(Grandma and Grandpa Wankier, thank you for making the trip down and our lunch date! Carl still talks about Grandma Martha and Grandpa Carl)
(Carl and I the morning we flew away in our favorite spot in the yard.)
Mom and Dad, thank you for letting us take up space in your basement! We have been so blessed to be so close to you and for Carl to get to know you so well. He asks for you all the time still and doesn't quite understand that we are across the country now from his "papa" and "andma."
Thank goodness for technology! I am planning on chatting with you all often and seeing you soon as we come and visit! Love you all!
