Recently we to another Nationals game with Emily and our good friends, the Flints!
The game started with a starting pitch by Katie Ledecky, a 15 year old girl from Bethesda, MD who won the gold medal in the 800 meter freestyle swim at the London Olympics. She's pretty much a star around here (as she deserves to be!)

The kids did great! This is Carl and his girlfriend, Hazel! They adore each other. Not to mention that they make quite the pair. They entertained one another pretty well so we could all enjoy the game.
And if you look real close, you can see the Nat's traditional "Presidential run" with four past Presidential bobble heads racing around the field after the fourth inning!
We have absolutely loved having an awesome professional baseball team nearby. We are looking forward to playoff time in a few weeks! Goooo Nats!
