Temple Visit

Recently we made a trip for Family Home Evening to go to Cafe Rio and to see the Washington DC temple. I have grown such a love for this temple! The best part about this visit was to see Carl's response to it.  When we got to the temple, he started clapping and was extremely ecstatic as we got out of the car.  He started running right for it.

We took him to the Visitors Center (where we met a Sister Wankier) and I sat down with him in from the the Christus and we talked about what he saw.  Then the sister missionary turned on the soundtrack for the Christus and Carl was so surprised.  He had this look like "Jesus is talking!"

Then we went to one of the exhibits and Carl kept yelling, "Jesus! Jesus!" He wanted to keep going back.  It was a fun experience.  Also, he made us look like awesome parents!

We went to the temple afterwards and walked the grounds.  I am so glad that we have a beautiful temple nearby. I hope that we will have many more memories to make there!
