For Halloween, we got a few pumpkins to carve with Emily! Obviously Emily is much more creative than we are. She did the "Y" football one. Preston pulled out a drill and made a bunch of holes in his pumpkin! Ü
Carl and I just picked out the seeds! (and took pictures)
Halloween was actually a lot of fun. We met up with a neighbor of ours and Carl and his friend went throughout the neighborhood (Trick or Treating #4). Our neighborhood rocked! Carl got TONS of candy and even a few full sized candy bars. Woo hoo! More so, because his parents ate most of his candy!
You could tell that he was really starting to get a hang of it by now.
I hung out at our house for a bit waiting for trick or treaters to come, but our door is a little obscured, so we weren't get many takers. In fact, the first knock I got...was Carl. Now... I didn't know what to expect, so I bought TONS of candy. So we ran over to our ward's trunk or treating activity. They had lot of games for the kids and then they got to trick or treat through the parking lot after (Trick or Treating #5). Yep, we got rid of all of our candy! Phew!
