I know that you all think that I'm a big 21 still... but sadly I have to report that those days have come and gone. I just turned 27 and am loving it! Ü
I don't have many pictures from the actual day, but it was a great one. My dear sister-in-law, Emily, came and watched the boys so I could go to job interview that morning. There I was able to meet with HR and the manager of the NICU and was later offered a job! Woo hoo! I will be working PRN nights at a hospital very close by and I am thrilled.
When I got back from the hospital, Emily and Carl and made some birthday cupcakes for me! They were delicious! Mmm... Mmmm... I think by the end of the day I ate about 5.
Then, Emily took us to my personal favorite, Chick-fil-A for some lunch. Poor Preston had been out since 2am working on snow removal, but met us there. Poor guy was absolutely exhausted.
Yet, still after that, he pulled out some gifts and we had a little birthday fun. Thanks to all my family that sent little cards and gifts. It absolutely made my day. I even got a special delivery of flowers from my dear friend, Jamee!
Then, that night, Emily was sweet enough to watch our boys (again!) so that Preston and I could have a very much needed date. We went to a delicious restaraunt called Bonefish Grill. Neither one of us had been there. After an hour wait to be seated, we noticed that our table was...right next to Preston's boss and his wife! Ha! What are the chances. Then, right after we said hello to them, a couple from our old ward came over to say hi. They were sitting kitty corner from us. Needless to say, we had to be careful where we were looking while we were eating. We knew too many people near us! Ü
The whole day was great. The years are flying by now! I can't wait for what the next year will bring. Thank you all for making my birthday a special one.

Aw! Glad you had a good birthday! And congrats on the job! You were our favorite nurse and I'm sure everyone you work with will say the same out there! :)
