Preston's Birthday [27]

Preston joined the big 2-7 club this month.  He has been working so hard and has been so busy that we wanted to have a special day with him.  

We started the day off with a little Cake Batter pancakes.  Yep, it was basically like cake with frosting for the "syrup."  Maybe a little too sweet!  But it looked awesome.  

 Then, we went to Home Depot where they were doing a free project for the youngins'.  Carl and Preston put together a little car (which Carl is obsessed with). It was perfect for a little Father/Son time.  

 Then, our favorite family member from VA came over... dear Miss Emily!  We went out to eat at a great brick oven pizza place.  I now have a new favorite pizza!  

Well, after that, we were going to go ice skating or bowling. However, it was too cold to go ice skating and the bowling alley had a 35 minute wait.  Not worth it with a screaming baby.

SOOO... we went home and had our own little party.  Our friends, the Flints, came over and we had dinner and banana cream pie!  He even was able to blow out all 27 candles with one stroke.  That's my man!

Preston, thank you for being such an incredible husband and father.  I am so fortunate to have you in my life. You always make sure to make time for our little family.  You are a hard worker and make our home a happy place to be.  You are the love of my life and I can't wait to spend the next eternity with you!
