Father's Day is another wonderful holiday. I am so fortunate to have such a wonderful father of my own. He has done such a wonderful job at helping to raise six children. He has always been an outstanding example to me and to my own children. I have never known someone who has worked so hard and given so much service as my dad. Thank you dad for being who you are! I love you.
I am also grateful for my father-in-law, Rob. Ever since I started to date Preston, he has always been very supportive and kind to me. I always remember him telling Preston to make sure to take special care of me...and that always meant a lot! He has always worked hard to support his family and what wonderful children they have (I can attest to that!)
And to the love of my life, Preston. He is the best father (and husband). You know that song that says, "I'm so glad when daddy comes home..." Yea, it makes a lot of sense now. Not just the fact that by the time he comes home I am absolutely exhausted and ready for some backup with the children. But my little boy, Carl will drop everything he is doing and run down the steps, out the door and right into his father's arms every day when he hears his dad's truck. Preston, thank you for being the type of man that takes the time for our little family. Thank you for being the "fun" person in our home! Thank you for being a wonderful example of hard work and determination to our children. I absolutely love you and appreciate all that you do to take care of me. You really are the man of my dreams!
Well, to actually celebrate Father's Day, we had a little steak, twice baked potatoes and salad. And of course we got him some goodies. He got three pairs of incredible Dockers from me, this awesome personalized book from Carl (didn't he do a good job), and lots of goodies for work from James.
"Oh the wonderful sounds Daddy can do! He can sound like a BYU Cougar. He can say... "Go BLUE!"
I love you babe! Happy Father's Day!
