I recently had my best friend, Jamee come and visit me and the boys! And as much as I love Jamee... I would have to say that I love her adorable little daughter just as much! Jamee and I worked together in Provo and became best of friends after working many a night shifts together. She and I have been through so much together. Each of us have had two children since, have gone through the ups and downs of parenthood, have watched our husbands finish school and had lots of playdates and girl's nights out!
I was so excited when she told me that she was going to come and see me! This girl has helped me out with so much through my life. She has always taken care of me and given me advice when I needed it. Talk about exciting times in DC!
Probably the most exciting time was watching the boys with little T!
Well Carl and T started crawling together about...
and then she started crawling after little James.
Oh, then Carl and her started to make up again.
And then she had to attack James! Ha ha! This picture is priceless!
And then comes pictures like this. True love? With who? Ha ha! I guess only time will tell. Their little love triangle was hilarious!
Oh... and then I realized that I was taking more pictures of these kids than of our time together. Remember us? The adults.
We went hiking in Alexandria...
.. found a couple of black snakes.
...went shopping in the outlets in Hagerstown, played around here and then...
We got to celebrate the big 3-0! That's right honey. That's was HER birthday. I'm not NEARLY so old yet! Ü You can write all about my age when I turn 30! Ha ha.
We were able to go down to Georgetown and celebrate. Though it does take a lot longer to do things when we have three young'ns with us! We were struttin' our stuff around beautiful Georgetown...
...with a quick "potty" break, then a stop to breastfeed, then time to feed the kids, change diapers... oh and a little bit of time for us to celebrate! Ha ha! Gotta love being a mom! Good thing Jamee is such a great one. She put up with us all day!
...went on a boat ride tour of DC (which the kids loved!) Perfect for such a hot day!
...then we hit up the infamous Georgetown Cupcake. Look at that gorgeous girl! She doesn't look like she could be any old than 21.
And the cupcakes were definitely just as good as I could have imagined! Mmm....
Then we had to sing "Happy Birthday" and eat some official birthday cake.
Then came our girl date! We went to one of my personal favorites...Bonefish Grill! Mmmm...
Before too long, our time with Jamee and T were done! They were off on the plane and a couple tears were shed. We miss you guys... COME BACK!
Good thing...September is coming!
