Emily Day!

 August 13 is a special day... it's a day to celebrate EMILY!  

We have been so incredibly blessed to have this girl live near us.  I have so much respect and admiration for her and the influence that she has had on so many people.  She truly is an amazing gal that I adore (as do my boys).  We wanted to share that with her somehow and came to the conclusion that we should celebrate an Emily Day!  We ate cake, drank dirty diet cokes, and made a little project with Carl so she could remember the day forever!   

It's always fun to celebrate someone who isn't ever looking for the limelight.  In fact, I would have to pride myself in saying that I think that we completely surprised her!  Emily, we love you.  You are so giving, nurturing, smart, dependable, honest, fun, and genuine.  Definitely a girl worth dedicating an entire day to!
