Oh, it's been years since I've been to a Fair. I guess there's not much that beats fried food, tractors, oodles of homemade art projects, large and in charge vege plants, and lots of smelly animals. Yep, that about spells out the County Fair, but oh how they truly are fun! Hey, back in the day, I won a "Judge's Choice Ribbon and got a few bucks for a quilt I made at the Iron County Fair.
Well, I was able to convince a few close friends of mine to take on this adventure with me. We took the young'ns and they were in HEAVEN. We toured the many animals,
milked a fake cow,
explored the big tractors (Carl's favorite part),
watched the "really tall lady" juggle, a chainsaw artist and ate a fried Snickers. And at the end of the day, what was Carl's favorite part? Riding on the school bus to and from the Fair! Figures. I guess next year I may have to fish out some dough so we can actually ride a few rides at the carnival. Ü
