As soon as we got back from Utah, a lot of changes happened! First, and most important, Carl started Preschool - Co-op style! We linked up with three other mom's and kids his age and swapped homes every week.
First week was the letter "A" and they learned about Ants!
Isn't he a cute little Preschooler? I'm so proud of him!
We took a hay ride out to the pumpkins... (James cracks me up in this picture...poor kid).
The boys and I picking out our pumpkin.
This place is absolutely, positively decked out for their pumpkin festival! It's worth it just to go see the decor.
My personal favorite. Ha ha!
The kids played in a huge bin of corn!
Carl climbed a web!
We had a few rubber duck races.
Almost as tall as the pumpkin!
Another favorite...this crazy slide built in the back of the tractor! Ingenious!
And then all of the crazy pumpkins dressed up for the season. A funny memory from this:
Carl climbed past the fence and was behind these pumpkins though I repeatedly told him not to. I told him that if he didn't come back... He was in BIG TROUBLE! (A mother's ultimate threat, right?) He still wouldn't come out and so I climbed the fence with James in hand and grabbed him and dragged him out. That is when he proceeded to sing me a song from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood..."But mom... I had to 'look a little, look a little, look a little closer to find out what I want to know.'" I couldn't help but smile as I realized that in his mind, he really just wanted to figure something out how these pumpkins changed to such neat characters. Smartie pants.
We love Preschool!
Later that month, we took all of the kids to Butler's Orchard to their Pumpkin Festival! The kids LOVED it! Of course...except for the bright sun obviously.
