The Chocolate Experience

Every year, the hospital puts on a "gala" as a fundraiser for the NICU. This year they also included Pediatrics. It is a night where people pay $150 a plate and come to a silent auction, a live auction and a performance or speech by someone. That's all I knew about it... until I got to attend. IT'S HUGE and is such a fun experience.
This is from their website: www.chocolateextravaganza.org.
The silent auction with loads of donated items including a quilt that 24 nurses worked together to make. Neat huh?
Chocolate. Thus the name Chocolate Extravaganza.
The live auction. The DJs were the DJs on 100.3. They were auctioning off a week at a condo in France. Dang!
And to end the night...a performance by John Schmidt. It was a wonderful night a great way to spend your money. I was really glad I had the chance to go.
