This is a little late coming but I got some fun pictures during our little "family vacation" not too long ago. My family had plans to go to Goblin Valley to go camping over Conference weekend, but the day before we decided to cancel because of bad weather...and go to our house instead! Party!
Well, we had to make quick plans between all the kids and their kids and decide on things to do and places to go. All in all, we hung out a lot, played plenty of games, and watched a little march madness basketball. For those of you who don't know my family, there isn't much that can beat it. I might even dare say the best family ever!
I'll show you why:
1) My nieces and nephews are always learning and trying to help one another. For example, L* here was willing to show a fellow niece and nephew his new potty skills. Obviously they were quite intrigued by such an idea.

2) They learn brotherly love even at a young age. (Although J* doesn't quite know what he thinks about being held by his brother on a moving massage chair).

3) Hugs and kisses are shared not only with one another but with the pets as well.

4) I think I heard B* say something like, "Thor I have two shoes...you can have one of mine!" A Good Samaritan in the making.

5) C* loves his Uncle Curt...enough said. Someone has to.

6) Even though P* had his eyes on that bottle, he decided to share it with his cousin instead.

Anyways... the weekend included Settlers of Catan, playing baseball and volleyball, eating lots, movies, etc. Also we hit up the BYU Men's Volleyball game.

These two boys were cracking us up sharing a seat and standing up and yelling after every kill.

We played and played until we were all worn out and everyone had to go home. All in all it was a wonderful weekend.

On another note, Preston and I started our garden that same weekend. We had to pull out a lot of weeds, bushes and shrubs for this little area, but as of today, we just got our first sprouts coming up!

I have the best husband in the world! I think the picture says it all. Don't be jealous.

So, the moral of the story... I sure am grateful for such a wonderful family. I constantly go to them for guidance and support. I have been blessed to have a family that loves to be with one another and continually seeks out time to be there for each other. I want them all to know how much I truly do love them and appreciate all that they do for me. Thanks for a great weekend! Love you all!

Ummm..... someone needs to talk to Preston about the dark socks and white shoes combo Caytee! A fashion intervention is needed!
