Yardwork = Wii

This week, Preston and I decided to really buckle down on the yard. I wish that I could have taken a before and after picture of this area, because, don't be disguised because that took us the entire Memorial Day to take out all the weeds and level it out with terrace stones. But look at it now. My sore muscles and calluses are worth it now.

And...you should all be impressed because I woke up that morning and made this arch...ALL by myself. Cut and measured the PVC pipe and then stuck it all together and painted it. It will hopefully look like the one behind it in a few years. I love it!

And then, what came about from our hard work? A Wii! Preston decided that his incredibly belated birthday gift would be put towards this wonderful game that we have come to know and love. Especially our upper arms. We got it off of KSL and got a great price including the Wii Fit.

And we got it right at the right time. We had visitors this whole weekend and it was a hit! Chase and Marissa stayed up until about 1:30am playing.

So what do I think about hard core yardwork? Sweet, if it ends up in a Wii.
