I have worked a lot of shifts lately and after one particularly tough day, I came home to quite a surprise. Preston had made a wonderful lasagna out of our spinach in our garden with fruit salad and garlic bread. Even with Mango ice cream and peaches for dessert. The table was beautiful and the food was delicious. But even better was when after dinner he told me, "You need to go get your swimming suit on." What?
Well, lo and behold Preston had set up a slip and slide that he had bought that day in our backyard and was ready to race. I'd like to say that I was the ultimate winner but that was only because Preston cruised past me that he couldn't grab the "winner cone" in the middle on his way down. I probably should work on that.
I sure have a wonderful husband. Even while he is busy with school and work himself, he takes the time to take care of me! Love you honey!
