The holiday bustle...

Wow, it feels like so much has happened since I last had a chance to blog. Ikes! What is happening? Well, here is a quick spin.We went to my cousin, Hillary's play, "How to Succeed in Business without really trying." Yep, I'd never heard of it either...but my cous was the lead in it (of course), Miss Rosalee. It was really cute and she did a super job. She's practically famous.
I've been working on the baby's room a little bit here and there. My wonderful sister gave us her old crib and I got right to work and made a bed bumper and decor and such. Still planning on making a skirt...but all in a day's work.

Of course, I didn't get any pictures at Thanksgiving, but we had almost the entire family here. It was a blast. Combine a little turkey, with lots of football, and an occasional game here and there...and you are set for an exciting holiday with the Cox Family. Have I mentioned lately how much I love my family!

My sister-in-law, Michelle and I hit the Black Friday sales together. Talk about mad house - yet awesome. We went to Target at 5:00 in the morning only to find that there wasn't a parking spot to be found. By the time we got in the store, the lines were all the way to the back of the store and basically all the doorbuster gifts were gone. HOWEVER, we found some great sales! Not to mention we went to Kohl's after and found all sorts of great things with hardly any lines.

Also...of course my batteries were dead when we went to the BYU vs. Utah football game. And it was the one to bring it to. The game was incredible...also incredibly cold! BYU pulled through for us in OT. Couldn't have been a better game all season! Go Cougs!

Our car hit 100,000 miles. We were pretty darn excited. Obviously...we had to take a picture of it.My little niece, Natalie, (not so little anymore), just turned 13. I can't believe it. She is a true teenager now and yet is still that little girl that I can remember holding in my arms as a babe. How the years fly by eh? My sister-in-law, Emily had a birthday too. I wish that we lived closer to each other. She is a NICU nurse in Washington, D.C. I have to admit that I really quite like this girl. The more we have had a chance to hang out, the more we find in common and I'm so glad to have her as a sister now.
Now don't get confused, but this is my other sister-in-law, Emily, who I love and adore. She also had a birthday last week. Talk about holiday overload. Emily and her family are just around the corner and I love it. We planned a little surprise party for her and between all the fibbing and coercing to get her out of the house, yet again, I seemed to have forgotten my camera. Now it's time for the holidays. I am more prepared than I have been in years. Most presents are already wrapped or ordered...oh be proud. Bring on the Christmas spirit!
