Oh wow! Where to begin? I am so far behind and have had such good intentions of updating the blog, BUT...time really does fly by. So here is a whirlwind of events.
My cute little sister-in-law, Hannah, was baptized on October 31, 2009. She is such a sweet girl and has grown so much since Preston and I got married two years ago. She really has matured into a little young woman before my eyes and I'm so proud of her and her decision to be baptized in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The day after she was baptized, she was told that she needed to try to fast for the first time. She did so well (with not much support from us older siblings, I'm sad to report). Hannah I'm so proud of you and the choices you are making.

My adorable sister-in-laws, Emily, Marissa and Hannah.

Hannah and her parents, LeAnn and Rob.

Preston had the privilege to baptize Hannah. It was a great experience for him as well. I think that's the first baptism he has performed in English.
Then we had lots of Halloween fun. I didn't get pictures of the little cousins (forgot the camera), but I had these darn cute pictures of my nieces and their friend. Aren't they cute? I have to admit those pink boots do it for me! And doesn't she look just like Belle?

Preston and I also got some great time with my nieces and nephews recently. Occasionally, there are pictures like this that I just can't pass up on!
Lil' Josh. Enough said.

We took Hailey with us out to eat, and the moment that we got to the restaurant, she fell fast asleep. Preston had to eventually put her down on the seat so he could eat, and she still didn't wake up. Not until we dropped Preston off. He's THAT fun I guess!

The boys came over for a little bit and so we decided to make a fort. They absolutely loved it. Little Joshie wanted to get in on the action and just planted himself right on top of the other boys.
Then this past weekend, we took a trip to Denver, CO. Nate found tickets to Wicked for an incredible price back in March and invited Preston and I to come with them. It was
supposed to be a surprise for Michelle, but either Nate is horrible at keeping secrets or Michelle is just way too smart. Anyways, she found out and helped out in the planning phase towards the end.

Oh I forgot to mention. It came right before a big snowstorm came. Nate and Michelle were both prepared, unlike Preston and myself. We definitely had to buy boots while we were there to help keep us warm.

We went to a Ski and Snowboard Expo that was going on while we were there. Just outside the Convention Center was this gigantic blue bear. Random eh? Kind of. But pretty cool too.

We got lots of good eating while we were there. Cheesecake Factory (a must in any major city), Illegal Pete's, BD's Mongolian Grill. Hm.... Basically right by our hotel is a major shopping area called 16th Ave. And we spent most of our time there!

Also hit some of the local public transportation. Unfortunately, this guy wouldn't let us hop a ride.

And then came the big show. What I've been waiting for since March. And it was so worth it! Even Preston loved Wicked! I was "swankified" with it. The cast, the sets, the costumes were all amazing. They put so much effort into it and it was even better than I had hoped. I had always known the songs from Wicked, but didn't really know the plot. I have to admit, it was different than what I was expecting but in a good way. I would completely recommend the musical to anyone.
Then, this last week, my sister-in-law Emily, and friend, Monica and I helped out with a New Moon event. We have been on a committee to help out with this event probably since about March and it came together quite nicely. Not much to our credit. We just did our shifts, enjoyed the event, got a free movie ticket and swag bag. Can't complain.

The event was at the South Town Expo Center and brought in a lot of big vendors. They had entertainment, contests, prizes, trivia, etc.

They had look alikes of some of the different characters, a place for your to get your hair and nails done...

This was one of the vendors that made cakes. She made this incredible cake that I couldn't help but take a picture of. It's INCREDIBLE!

My job was to work at Alex's Lemonade Stand. It's a charity foundation for pediatric cancer. We sold bracelets and did a silent auction to make money for the foundation.
Oh and did I mention that they had photo booths... yea we took full advantage of those. Here are some of my favorites. Don't judge. Married gals can have a happening time too.

Oh...let me introduce you to Eric, or as he likes to be called, "Handsome Rob." He decided to join a picture or two of ours.

This is the Edward look alike. Could you tell? Well, he could play the piano pretty darn good and juggle apples. That should count for something right?

And because the event and movie weren't quite enough for us, we found ourselves charming enough to convince a dance party nearby to give us wristbands into their event. We've still got it!
And last but not least...BYU vs. Air Force.

A couple of my sister-in-laws came with us to the game and we had great seats to enjoy. BYU played great and beat Air Force. Woot woot!
PS I am getting pretty good at this whole BYU fight song thing. Ya'll would be proud.
Besides that, I am 24 weeks along and feeling great. I am getting to the point where I can really feel the little guy moving around a lot. I love it. He will be here before we know it. Time really does fly by.
THE END...

What a post! First of all, I LOVE Wicked. Second, I was at the Colorado Convention Center last month at a conference and saw that giant blue bear. Funny. Third, congrats to Preston's sister. It sounds like you've a had a lot of fun.
Wow! You have been busy! It all looks like so much fun. By the way, I have to know where they found those cute pink cowgirl outfits and hats and boots. My Hailey wants to dress up like a cowgirl on another Halloween and I'm sure pink will be the color. And someday I will have to convince my husband to take me to wicked because every person that I have talked to that has seen it loves it. I'm glad that you could go :)
Argh... It has been FAR too long since I've seen you. Sheesh. So glad you had a fun trip. Wicked is truly INCREDIBLE. PS... love that outfit you had on in Denver ;-). (Such good taste you have! Teehee).
I'm headed home for Turkey day, but man-oh-man the things we need to chat about! Yikes. Enjoy your days off (though they are few) over the holiday. I'll catch up with you next week! LOVES!
I love your baby's profile--it's perfect! Enjoy all those kicks and movements (my favorite part of any pregnancy).
