Our little munchkin

So I never thought that I would be the type to post all of the ugly ultrasound, alien-looking pictures...but I guess I am. I remember hearing a quote once that said something to the effect that "Every child deserves to have someone that is crazy about them." Let me just say that once I saw this little guy, I fell in love immediately. Not that those little kicks to my bladder didn't make me fall in love, but....
So here they are:

Our little premature alien. This is his face. The ultrasonographer was wonderful. She looked through everything and explained it to us because she knew of my type of work and knew what kind of worries I would have. And the blessing of it is, that all those Arby's curly fries that I have been craving haven't affected him too much. He's perfect! Isn't it incredible?

These are both of the hands. She was amazed that one of the hands was open. I guess that almost every baby keeps them in a fist. Already a little social butterfly. Or just a show-off!

This is the profile of our babe. Aw shucks! This is about the time where I got really teary eyed. It's such a miracle how this baby can grow. It amazes me that even at 21 weeks, you can see that every organ and organ system is starting to work together. It truly is amazing to me.

And this is the part where we found out, very convincingly may I add, that it's a boy!

And this is where our little babe takes after his mother. Can you say a little foot in mouth? Except he can literally do it! Man, he's amazing.
Well, I can honestly say that I am crazy about this kid already. He already knows how to make his mom cry and his dad look for mini BYU outfits! We're in for it for the long run I guess. Bring on the car seats and boppy (at least in another 19 weeks please).
