To start out, let's not forget to mention that I don't have an incredibly exciting life right now. I work, eat, sleep, hang out with Preston and occasionally find something creative and exciting to take up some time. So, this whole baby thing has been kind of the excitement in our house as of late.
So when I went in for my 20 week checkup/ultrasound and they said, "Oh, it looks like they forgot to schedule your ultrasound today." Of course my little heart is going to plummet. Seriously? What did I do to deserve this? The doctor felt terrible because it was obviously written all over his paper that I was going to have an U/S today. But, I guess at that moment, the machine had overheated and they were already two patients behind, so they couldn't slip me in. Next option, pick up an appointment in two days. Okay, I can handle that. I don't know if my nerves can take it any longer, but two days is two days.
Well, two days have passed and the excitement is back. I am sleeping in from a night shift and I get a call from my doctor's office. Ok... "Caytee, we noticed that you have an appointment for an ultrasound today at 3:00. We just wanted to let you know that we need to reschedule your appointment because the ultrasound machine wouldn't turn on today." Seriously? Or is this a really bad joke? Either way, I am only half awake, distraught, and totally livid. Thus the angry nightmares about ultrasounds after the phone call.
Ugh! My life is lame...

Don't get discouraged sweetheart- think about the olden days when you wouldn't have been able to find out until the little babe popped out! Call me if you need a pep talk! I love your guts (and you!) Ha ha.
Poor Caytee! We didn't find out what M* was until a few days before. That's so weird that they don't buy new machines if they overheat that much. If it is really driving you THAT crazy you could go to one of those fetal photo places, but I think they're pretty expensive. Hope you get to find out soon!
