Halloween Dinner

We had our Preston's brother and his family over for dinner. It has come to be our little tradition. Halloween isn't my cup of tea, but I have to admit, I love the little treats that you can make for the holiday. We had dinner and then played Wii together. I wish I would have gotten pictures of the girls playing the Wii. Let's just say, H* knows when she misses the pins and she isn't too happy when it happens! Ha ha!
K* loved the deviled eggs last year, so I figured they would be a hit for the girls again this year!
I love this! I took a couple non-latex gloves from work and made some freaky hands for the punch bowl. Fun eh?
And I thought the girls would enjoy a little treat that was "non-adult food." So here are some little bagel mummys. Just take plain bagels, tomato sauce, string cheese and a couple olives for the eyes and cook them in the oven for about 10 minutes.
This is one of my favorite Halloween recipes. It's a little casserole that you bake in a pumpkin
For the recipe, click here.
Also, I used a template from here for the design on the front. Although, really you could do whatever you wanted. Mmmm....good!
Last but not least, I made a little Spider Pumpkin Cheesecake. I've never made cheesecake before, but this turned out pretty good. I got the recipe here. I love pumpkin flavored things around this time. Emily made some delicious pumpkin bread that I need to get the recipe for too. Tis the season!

Amazing! I tip my hat to you. You should write a book on how to be just like Caytee Wankier...it would be a top seller. Does your husband even know how good he has it? Just wondering.

That looks like fun! I have a question for you and didn't know how else to contact you. Grant is about to have his first birthday and we wanted to come visit. Will they even let us in to the lobby at the NICU with the whole Flu scare going on? And if we can, when's a good time to come? We want to see you and Dr. Gerday mostly. :o)
