Birthday fun!

I feel like this is "Caytee Spotlight time." Sorry for all of you who have to read, but partly it's for my own memory (cause we know how good mine is).
It all started on February 1, 1986. That was officially 24 years ago now. Ikes. I'm getting old. Now I'm all grown up...and having babies!
My bestest friend, Hali, took me out to eat for my lunch despite her incredibly hectic day and made me feel like a million bucks. We went to Zupa's....mmm....

Hali and I have this odd tradition of sharing food. Often we go places and decide that we like the same thing, but probably wouldn't eat the whole thing (or we want more than one thing) and decide to share it. We basically have the same tastes, and the things that we don't agree on, we improvise. Hali eats my tomatoes and I put my sauce on the side. It's such a great relationship!

Oh how I love my dear miss Hali!

Poor Preston came down with mono that same weekend, and so he was a little on the exhausted side. However, he still was able to make me a birthday cake (with the sparkler on top).

He even put up the birthday banner up for me! Aren't I lucky! My parents took us out to eat that night to Spicy Thai. It was delicious! Thanks for a wonderful birthday.
