Tobler Family Fun

The Tobler Family Reunion was the day after Grandma Tobler's birthday party. It was at a park in Salt Lake and was a lot of fun (and we didn't even get to stay for the huge inflatable waterslide).

We had a huge breakfast that could have fed an army. And then we played games and conversed.
They played all sorts of noodle games including this game where you were stuck to your partner with a noodle. You had to run around together without dropping the noodle and without getting tagged by whoever was it. It was pretty fun to watch from the sidelines.

These are two of my new favorite people. Jennifer was such a delight to talk to and I am so amazed at all she has been able to accomplish in her life. Elizabeth just graduated high school and is on her way to a distinguished musical conservatory in Pennsylvania where I am sure she will shine with her talent on the harp.

And this would be my husband and brother-in-law, Chase, hiding out under the tree where no one could come after them. Wimps!
Alicia and Doug running around. Don't they make a good couple? Sticking together well already!

Now this noodle game, they had to keep a little piece of noodle on top of one of their hands while they used their noodle to try to knock everyone else's off. Yet another hilarious game to watch! It takes mad skills to be good at this game people!

And this is my new favorite picture. Preston was sporting his Paraguay jersey in honor of the Paraguayan team in the World Cup, and Carl was sporting his mad sunglasses which were a big hit at the party. How I love these boys!
Enter summer, enter family gatherings! It seems like these last few weeks have been packed with outings and fun, and I am thoroughly exhausted. (thus the mass blogging at the late hour of night). Poor Carl is so thrown off his schedule that I don't think he knows his own bed from his car seat. But who can complain when you have two wonderful families who are so supportive and fun to be around!
