So our little boy will be turning six months in a week so I thought I would take some "taken from my very own camera, in my very own home" pictures. They turned out pretty cute if I say so myself. Only because I have a great model. Don't cha think?
Carl is starting to sit up on his own now which is such a joy! He is so much happier since he can be a little bit more independent. It's huge news, you don't understand. He now can sit in his high chair by himself without towels stuffed on the side, he can sit up in the shopping cart by himself, and he can entertain himself so much more! This is wonderful!

He is on a medication for his reflux...thank you Prevacid inventor! He doesn't spit up quite as often all over our house, our clothes, and all over every store and chapel we enter. Not to mention, I think he is a little happier not puking up after every meal. Notice those little chunks starting to form around his cheeks!

He is definitely starting to get his own little personality. He laughs all the time and smiles at perfect strangers in the store (which often brings up comments). He also is a little social butterfly. If I turn my back to him he will pout, but the moment I turn around to face him, he starts to giggle. Also, when I get home from my night shifts I will often put him in my bed so he can hang out a bit after he wakes up and I might get a tinch more shut eye. However, without fail, this boy makes his way over to me and starts cooing at me, then starts rubbing my face and occasionally starts sucking on my nose. Yep, my friends, by this time, I am up and at it! Besides who couldn't resist waking up to such beautiful eyes begging for me to wake up. Oh and the moment I sit up, he starts to laugh and roll around from excitement! Ha ha! I would be laughing more if I wasn't so tired I promise!
-his daddy and squeals every day when he comes home from school
-the outdoors and could hang out in the grass for hours
-to stare. Kind of creepy, but none the less, cute.
-to eat solids.
-to sleep on his tummy.
-his toys.
-to put everything in his mouth.
-the water. He loves to swim, take baths, and even laughs when Preston accidentally douses him with water.
-to suck his thumb.
-to cuddle. No joke. He will put his legs up on top of you and stuff his nose in your armpit.
-eat.
-be held and talked to.
-his mommy. (He better)

Love the pics! Carl is so cute! Thank goodness for prevacid huh? Kaitlyn's reflux is finally improving enough that we are starting to wein her off of the prevacid. I am now just giving it to her every other day. We tried stopping all together for a few days and she started getting really grumpy and puking a ton so we now are just giving it to her every other day! :)
he's presh. and he's wearing the shirt we got him! love it.
