Ok...here's the next one. This week I gave each of the girls this invitation:
And then when they showed up, I pulled out my FHE board which had each of the girls with an assignment on it. We full on had a family home evening; scripture, hymn (Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree), prayer, lesson, activity, and treats. I taught the girls a quick lesson on The Plan of Salvation prompted from here, and then I had a couple of girls help me pass out the following:
Each girl got a page to cut out, laminate, and then put into an envelope. Then we had a contest to see which team could put the plan of Salvation the quickest correctly. It was a good experience for me because it prompted a lot of questions that the girls had. For some girls, they knew a lot about it, and to others, the words were all a big jumbled mess. What a great time to offer answers to questions that they might have and for the girls to teach each other. I found these templates here. I absolutely love her site!
