Now that the blossoms are coming out and we can actually feel the sun, Carl and I have made it to the park a few times with our friends. Carl LOVES the park! Mostly, I think he just likes to get out of the house and eat wood chips. But besides that, he loves to be with other kids that he can watch run around and entertain him.
This is him with his friends, Keaton and Kaden. They are so good with him. Keaton was wiping off all the wood chips off of Carl's head because Carl kept throwing them in the air on top of himself. Have I mentioned lately how happy I am to finally be playing outside?
I look at him now and I think, "When did you grow up?" It's hard to think back to the time that he wasn't a part of our family.
We were able to spend a little bit of time with Preston's family before our big move and went to Thanksgiving Point. It's so nice to take outside pictures! Not to mention with a little bit of COLOR!
You've got to love the Thanksgiving Point tulips!
Now, if you know me by any measure, you know that I prefer to be quite organized (if I can). So, with that being said, I have these buckets ALL over our house. It probably is to the point that it is kind of ridiculous. However, I had them out one day (one with all of Carl's toys in it), and came out to find him like this. You see, there are many uses for buckets!
And, as previous posts described, Carl is quite the "shooter." He absolutely, positively LOVES his basketball hoop. He could play with this little nerf basket all day if he could. (He especially likes to show off for the ladies).
He is growing up to be quite the young man. A few more things about him:
-Carl is quite the entertainer. If he can get a reaction out of you, he will continue it over and over again. And if you don't laugh at it, he'll laugh at himself!
-He blows kisses to everyone! It makes me laugh when he is standing on the pew in church blowing kisses to all the little old ladies behind us. Ha!
-He loves the letter B. Odd, I know. But all of his favorite words start with it: Ball, book, balloon, bath, etc.
-He still only have two teeth. It kind of looks like one and a half but who's counting?
-He has finally started walking. And when I say walking, it's by no means like across the room or anything. More like a few steps until he realizes what he's doing and then slowly lets himself down so he can safely crawl to his destination.

-He loves his mom. And that's the most important part! (Even though he crawls around the house and says "dadadadada" all day).
