Next, we stopped at the National Botanical Gardens.
There were several different areas in the Botanic Garden Conservatory including the Garden Court,
Medicinal Plants (where they had several plants that they used traditionally to help heal people. I particularly liked this area), Garden Primeval, the Children’s Garden (Our favorite. They had plants for the kids to plant and water buckets to water them, fountains, tunnels, and a little house with plants on top.),
Plant Adaptations, Hawaii,
World Deserts, Orchids, Plant Exploration, Rare and Endangered Species, and the Jungle with a canopy walk as well.
The grounds were beautiful too. Preston loved learning about the different plants. It was neat to be able to walk from room to room and to see plants from different climates. You can’t just see that anywhere.
