Cedar City and HOME at last!

Well this is where my lack of pictures is really apparent. Oh well.
Next, our road trip led us to...

In particular, Albuquerque. I am just proud that I can spell that now without a spelling check. Preston had made arrangements previously to visit a company called, Heads Up, that he was very interested in. They put us up in the Marriott and Preston took most of the day exploring their business. Later, Carl and I met up with Preston, the manager and the owner of the company for lunch. We went to this great place called El Pinto which had excellent food and a gorgeous atmosphere.
I was a little worried to see what Albuquerque was going to be like. However, I was pleasantly surprised. In my mind, it reminded me a lot of a bigger St. George.
Not to mention, they have this awesome hot air balloon festival every year. Who wouldn't like that?

Well after our stay in Albuquerque, we were on the road again. We stopped at Four Corners where the corners of Utah, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico meet.
Imagine here a picture of Carl and I sitting on the corners of each state. Vivid...I know.

Then came my favorite sign of all...

We went to Cedar City to spend time with Preston's family. We always love being there. We had a lot of fun playing at the swimming pool and at their cabin. Not to forget all the fun card games we play every time we are there!
After that, we drove home. Oh and what a wonderful drive that day was. A mere 2 1/2 hours as compared to our 6-11 hour drives. The best part was...driving into our driveway.
I guess Dorothy was right when she said, "There's no place like home!"
