Mommy & Me

In a town nearby, they have these monthly activities for "Mommy & Me... and Daddy too!"  Basically, it's a part of the town with a bunch of nice stores and restaurants that open up their doors and have different activities for the kids.  They also bring in other local stores/services that want to promote their business there because it is centered around children (kid's gyms, day cares...)

In October, they had the kid's come dressed up and go trick or treating from store to store.  Then they had different activities for the kids too.  This was Trick or Treating time #1 for Carl.  He LOVED it!  Especially once he figured out the concept that all he had to do was say "Trick or Treat" and these wonderful people would give him CANDY!  Woo hoo!  

We convinced Auntie Em to come with us!  It was a riot.

 Auntie Em and Carl!  Carl was a little football player (if you couldn't tell).  We had people asking if he was from Yale or the Yankees.  Come on people! Ü

Well, because we had so much fun and couldn't get enough practicing of trick or treating... we went to their second "Mommy and Me" at a different location in town a week later with Jamie and Hazel!  Yes, that would be Trick or Treating #2.  Carl was really getting a hang of it now!

 It is really nice to be in an area that has so many activities for kids and their families.  We have had so much fun!  (Especially when it involves candy!)
