Parties!

First off, I want to thank the adorable Primary Presidency in my ward for putting on a baby shower for me.  I meant to get some pictures of the adorable party, but I never got a chance to!  We had such a great time as we had a waffle brunch and lots of chatting.  Then each girl that came, filled out a form that expressed their wishes for the new baby!  It was so much fun and was completely sweet of them to spoil us with gifts and goodies for the new little one!  Thank you thank you thank you!

Next, we went to our ward's Christmas party.  There was delicious food and was one happening party.  The decorations were adorable and it was so well organized.  (Sam you're incredible!)
The official program included some "Minute to Win it Games..."

I got to compete in the "Eat the cookie off your face" game... or whatever it's really called.  Yep, I lost! Darn it.  Next year.
Honestly, the Young Men's contribution was my favorite.  They had these little "musical" sticks that they would hit against their bike helmets and played a little Christmas tune for us.  Hilarious.  Note to self... I need to find those sticks!
Then the Primary put on the nativity.  Look at all our fidgety angels!  A lot of my little sunbeams were here so I told them that if they were good, I would take a picture of them...  Viola!
They really all did a great job though.  I was so proud of them.
Another good friend of ours took pictures of anyone interested with some fun little props.  This is the one that Carl picked out since he wore his Santa hat to the party.  Isn't he a cutie?

Then, Santa Claus came!  He came in saying "Feliz Navidad!" and gave all the kids treats...
which Carl devoured.  What a success!

We also were able to go to a little birthday celebration of a couple friends of Carl's.  They each turned "1" and their moms put on the CUTEST party I have ever seen!  Honestly, I think that I would go to these girls for my next party!  Ü

They took the first letter of each of the babes and put them to make an "A&W" party!  So clever!
Then the kids got to pin the mustache on "W" and the ribbon on "A."
Then came the cake smashing time!  (That's my personal favorite!)  Thanks girls for inviting us to the fun!  What lucky kids to have such cool moms (and dads of course!)

That photo of Carl with the Santa beard is so precious! He has the most beautiful eyes.
